Scotland edges Lithuania. lrytas.lt
Saturday's heroics against Italy (namely Danilevičiaus goal, the first ever scored against Italy) could not be repeated today at Dariaus ir Girėno stadium, and Lithuania fell to Scotland, 2–1, in a match that featured all three goals in the second half. Scotland remains on its perch atop Group B in the Euro2008 qualifying round, and every fan of Lithuania should now keep their eyes peeled on tonight's matchup between France and Italy (streaming links here). [UPDATE: I guess four stars leads to four goals in two matches as Italy crumbles before a clicking French side, 3–1. This one I watched, and Govou's second goal was a crack header—that subsequently lead to two cracked heads. That's right—Lithuania is ahead of Italy on goals.]

I spent all morning trying to hunt down a feed of the Lithuania match, but it seems like the pirates haven't been able to hack into a feed for Sky Sports 1, which was showing the match in Britain. Similarly, the match may not have had the right profile to get picked up by the various Chinese stations that were showing other Euro2008 matches today. I'm still new at this whole watching soccer on P2P thing, so any tips are very welcome.

From my following of the commentary at Football365 and futbolas.lt, it looks like Lithuania put on a tough match. Still (and despite whining about the trashed playing conditions, it was Scotland's evening on the pitch. Off the pitch, however, the Lithuanian fans shone, both in pickup soccer and in getting the visitors completely wasted.
