I know the site's been achingly slow lately—in that no new content has been getting posted. I've been intensely busy, and it doesn't seem like anyone else is up for doing the job until my exams are done. Take this as a sort of unofficial, mini-hiatus until November, then, when I'll start posting more stuff. That said, I have some news: Hearts crashed out of the UEFA Cup yesterday. This has not been a good trip to Europe for Hearts. Their landing in the Champions League was upset almost immediately by being beaten at home, forcing an unlikely come from behind win in Athens. It didn't happen, and Hearts found themselves in the same position against Sparta Praha, dropping the opener at home. Throughout their European tour, Hearts have been unable to score, and with elimination on the line, they still couldn't get anything into the goal. Down they go. Despite this all, Valdo Ivanausko job is safe.
Of course, there's still the league, and so on, but that's still just the preparatory move for Europe 2007–2008. Romanov wants a European winner, not a Scottish winner.
